BIOGRAPHY
Earth Loop Recall formed in London in Spring 2001, and signed to indie label Wasp Factory Recordings in Autumn 2002.
In February 2004, the band released debut album 'Compulsion' through Wasp Factory, which received critical acclaim both at home and abroad.
Unfortunately, the band split in February 2005, following the release of the 'Futureless'/'Compulsion' EP via the band's [now defunct] website.
In November 2006, a new 4-piece line-up of Earth Loop Recall was formed, with original members Ben McLees and Jo Quail being joined by guitarist Tim Clark, also of I Am Immune; and drummer Dan Vickers.
In August 2007, former DeathBoy guitarist Jason Knight joined the band, becoming ELR's new bassist.
ELR split on Valentines Day 2008, with the last ever ELR gig taking place on January 21st 2008.
